I am no professional, but I do own a lot of lights! I believe that the cool RGB lights really make your setup, but they can get pretty expensive!

Rather than recommending $400 lights, I think this tip will allow you to elevate your setup on a budget!

You want your lights to bring the room together, and I think adding strip or bar lights to the back of your monitor adds a soft touch of color while giving you depth rather than a white wall. The ones I use are made by Govee, and are under $50, but you can find any inexpensive light strips and stick them to the back of your monitor! Just make sure the colors are easy to change and that you have a convenient power source nearby! I’ll show you the difference below!
